It was a lot of fun on Nico, our new custom artist at the studio. 5 hours of work on his leg with a pneumatic tattoo machine and a regulator. I used some cyan monochrome work which gave us a not-too-flashy detailed background nicely revealing the principal element.
Using monochrome for background is very interesting since it doesn’t blend with the subject and still gives a really great contrast and level of details.
